God Save America

September 20, 2013

Dear Friends:

The first God Save America Rally was held in Mesquite, TX, in 1976, our nation’s Bicentennial year.  Since then, the National God Save America Revival Conferences have gone on to be an important, powerful, and unique old-fashioned Baptist conference. Throughout its existence, this conference has become a moral compass for the eternal good of our country. The conference has tackled tough issues, but not without critics or opponents.  Great conferences are honorable and rare, and the effects of the God Save America Conferences are reaching nation-wide throughout Fundamental, Independent, Baptists.

The longer I live and the deeper I delve into the need of revival for our nation, the more I realize the need for this great National Conference.  Today the threat of our churches drifting into liberalism, and the fearful thought of America drifting toward Socialism, could very well extinguish individual revival and liberty. I, for one, believe that if we as a group of God’s people could be swallowed up with God’s Spirit power, a godly consecration, and a Bible stand, then with God’s help we could gradually edge out compromise with a complete revival of soul-winning, separated churches again.

This year’s National God Save America Revival Conference will be in Lexington, KY, at the Clays Mill Road Baptist Church where Dr. Jeff Fugate and I will be co-hosting the conference.  Please mark your calendar for November 11-13, 2013 (Monday-Wednesday). Monday is Veteran’s Day and we will be recognizing the veterans of the Armed services.

In conjunction with  the God  Save  America Conference,  there will
be a  Next  Generation  Youth  Conference  Tuesday  and Wednesday afternoon.  The guest speakers will be:  Youth Pastor Williams Davis, Evangelist Randy Taylor, Jr., Pastor Tony Green, and Pastor William Turner.

On Tuesday, directly after the morning service, there will be a special Pastors’ Luncheon at the church.

Enclosed is a list of God Save America speakers.  Below is a list of motels in the Lexington area.
