Update July/August 2010

Presently, the Evangelistic Fellowship of America summer tour training preacher boys is traveling with me for the month of August in my revival meetings.  Dr. Boyd trained preacher boys for over 50 years.  I have been training preacher boys for 25 years.  So, between the two of us, we have 75 years of experience training preacher boys.  I have six preacher boys with me now.  Their class training is from my Revival with Reason manual, Dr. Boyd’s Evangelism and Soulwinning manuals, along with other text books.  Our main goal through these classes is to train preacher boys in the field of evangelism so that souls might be saved.  Paul was right when he said the Gospel must have free course. “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you (II Thessalonians 3:1).  We hope to set a good example and pattern for these young men to follow so that no matter what they might face in the ministry, from struggles to discouragements, they can know and be determined that God is leading and guiding them.  The songwriter, Joseph H. Gilmore, put it so well, “He leadeth me, O blessed tho’t!  O words with heavenly comfort fraught!  Whate’er I do, where’er I be, still tis God’s hand that leadeth me.”  God is faithful, good and loving, and He will use us in the work and lead us, if we would just be steadfast and faithful. “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord (I Corinthians 15:58).

Don’t forget to pray for the National God Save America Revival Conference.  This great conference will be held in Boyne City, MI at the Boyne Mountain Resort.  It will be co-hosted by myself and Dr. Gary Biggs of the Landmark Baptist Church of Petoskey, MI.  I want you to mark your calendar for November 8-11, 2010.  Thursday, November 11, is Veteran’s Day.  We will be honoring our veterans.  The theme for the conference is “We Will Serve the Lord”.  Motel rooms will be available at the elegant Clock Tower Suites at the Boyne Mountain Resort.   The rooms start from $75.00 to $103.00, which is an unbelievably low price.  For our Next Generation Youth Conference, the Avalanche Bay Indoor Water Park has been rented out half a day for teenage girls and half a day for teenage boys.

We have a tremendous line-up of preachers.  They are:

Letters from Dr. Randy Taylor

March 29, 2010

Dear Friends:

As I travel and hold revival meetings each month with churches across this country, I am reminded that revival time is one of the best ways for any church to see spiritual results among God’s people.  Revival will also broaden the Gospel message to the lost in their area. The cause of revival should be greater than any other church event.  When people humble themselves and confess their sin, repent publicly and have fellowship restored, then revival could break out and our churches can experience a long season of revival.  This makes the evangelist’s journey worthwhile.  Our energies also need to be directed to preserving the past and protecting this generation, as well as looking forward to the future.

The last few months my travels have taken me to two churches in Alabama, one in Indiana, one in Pennsylvania, one in Ohio, and three in West Virginia. The weather has been tough, troublesome and treacherous.  But through it all, the Lord has helped me make it to every destination.

Please mark your calendar for the National God Save America Revival Conference.  The date is November 8-11, 2010.  We will give you more updates as plans evolve.  The host pastor is Dr. Gary Biggs of Landmark Baptist Church, Petoskey, MI.  You can call his church at 231-347-2654 for more information on the conference or to secure housing for you, your church members or youth group.

In closing, may I say I need your prayers.  The ministry of evangelism in this changing evil world doesn’t get any easier.  There is always difficulty in trying to have revival in the local church.  I covet your prayers as I continue striving to bring positive and lasting results to help pastors and their churches.

Thank you for your faithful support to the Randy Taylor Revivals Ministries.

Because He lives,

Dr. Randy E. Taylor
